cheers for the info guys
few quick questions  1) from my osprey book it looks like the side hatch(pistol port/shell ejection hatch) on the right hand side comes off yes?  2) mg mount comes forward atop the turret 3) loaders hatch ground flat and changed for late Sherman type and moved forward? 4) what about the stowage racks on teh right side do they stay or go?  5) when the barrelcomes through the secondoary add on armour, on teh osprey book it shows it as just a round protrusion that then goes into the barrel, ie it doesnt have the V shape either side of teh mantlet, any ideas whats right?

And where did you get teh scale plans from, thanks by the way for the measurement on the barrel, i think i was about two inches two  long. Thought it was a bit too extreme! :o

Hi Matt

I think Ians just done it out of Pastic tube, plastic card and brass rod. Just made the same over the weekend for mine, quite easy as long as you take your time. You need to find a shop near you that sells plasticard and evergreen sheets etc. You can get tehm on ebay but its better to have a shop where you can pick teh stuff up and see first hand what you are getting. Ive got Dorking models near me here and they have racks and racks of teh stuff.

There was a wright up on the Super Pershing a few years back in Military Modeling I have a copy somewhere
They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
