Johnf, so you drilled holes on the links on your Armortek too? I will try both drilling a hole in top of link and filing down the extra pin and put results up here. In terms of old or new version I dont know, got them from Welshdragon a couple weeks back, they have the late pattern Tiger track links if that makes any difference?
The other thing was the top holder doesnt sit flush to the turret top, I prob will just sand down the lip that runs around turret top edge, what did you guys do if you had to?

Did the same as you mention, had to file a bit off the lip but mine were home made i don't know how the manufactured ones fit.

Here is a picture of track links on my armortek

To fit the top link holder you will need to drill a hole in the turret rim.
This is a late model tiger. The turret roof is standing proud of the turret wrap as armour thickness was increased from 25mm to 40mm. The Heng Long is the earlier model.
