have been watching a pair of new pershing gearboxes without motors on ebay all week the guy emailed me postage was £2-50 to ireland so i waited till last minute put in bid ebay wouldnt let me bid as he hadnt put in postage to europe so bloody anoying :-< :-< :-< :-< anyway they went for £2-20 will have to start looking again

hi Chris
couple of mods worth doing are extending the barrel to it's proper length and opening the rear hatches.

hi ross the mods you have done are very very good i like the way your pershing looks dirty as for opening hatches im not that good and how much longer should the barrel be and what did you use, i shaved 1.5mm off each side of the fenders im now thinking about cutting off the front fenders

i added 30mm to the barrel ,i found a ball point pen that was the right thickness

hi Chris
It's 30mm. I had aluminium tube the correct diameter so it was a matter of replacing the old plastic mid barrel section with the new.

i have done what jrc suggested extended barrel also made jerry can box with brass chain im still pondering if to cut off front track guards

i have now installed rx14 into lower hull and its working ok will do upper hull when turret is finished

i decided to cut off the front fenders what do you think also looks if i have to change position of rx14 board the turret rotation motor sits right on top of it, dam
