hi. if you dremel all the stantions and stands that hold you gearboxes in, so that the base is clean. then get yourself a flat piece of pcb board about 3-5 mm, cut it to size, place it in the bottom of the tank and make sure everything fits and is all lined up at the right height. when happy fix the plate in the base with p38 filler, leave to set and then you can place your gear boxes in, drill and tap them in. thats one way of doing it.

just 2 more pic's added to my up grade
now have the problem with the motors on my up grade fitted them run it worked fine now one cuput so looking for help on the size of motor to use because am still new to all this electric's stuff any suggestions welcome
and any idea's for putting static snow on my Tiger 1
was thinking of building the static snow up in mounds in shapes to fit the open space's of the Tiger so they not permanent
other than that will have make it permanent

most of my painting idea's come from flames of war now im having to put them on a bigger scale
and for the recognition flag i cheated that was brought ready made
and the das reich symbol that was a print out from my printer and stuck on

Hi You can repair the other metal gearboxes,Degrease them and solder the bushes into the the the gearcase .Just take care to solder them in a positon that take the backlash out of the gears.If you do this they will run very quiet,also fit shims (small washers) to the gears to stop side movment.
I went through all my gearboxes nearly three years ago(before there was a choice)and they are still going well.

maybe try google Das Reich Tiger Kharkov, because thats the battle that would have seen panzer grey Tigers with winter camo in DR the div marking was smaller in black and no shield and 3 digit no's and no turret crosses,that feature was found only on early 503 abt,in a couple of weeks I can get my bro to scan some pics and post em, but try good ol google in the meantime
