Thanks for the feedback guys! I tried to make it look as though the slogan was painted by the crew. I didn't want it to be clean lines. So far, so good. IF I ever manage to get the tank completed, it should be a nice runner and look good too!

Looks fantastic Sir! Nice work.

I plan to start my WSN T34/85 soon, to be completed with HL RX18 and DBCRC2 for now and may be Elmod later. I would like to make all the hatches opperational and apply some artificial mud/snow .

Began to work on the T-34 some more this week. Not much done yet, but it is progress.
I began with the turret mods, as the WSN is not up to the task. I plan to go elmod with this build and decided that a Tamiya recoil unit with a custom backet was just the ticket. I soldered a brass rod to the bracket that fits into the HL elevation arm. Works nice while testing with my power supply. So, here are some pics. Any comments are welcome as always.

I then went on to painting the lower hull. I used black as a preahde to the road wheels and lower hull as a basecoat and then went over with the green that I mixed using Tamiya acrylics. After this I began a light wash for dirt effects. This is drying and then weathering will be done and completed oon the tank.

Ok looking really good has the Russian front rustic look. Now my rather dumb question,what are the round compartments on the sides? I may of asked this before but my Russian is terrible, ???? ?????? ??? ???????? :{ :{

Or are they filled with ????????? ?????? I know very little about Russian armor and the Tank was such a surprise to the Germans opposing them with Panzer III and IV's .I can't believe the containers are filled with fuel or lubricating oil. :think: :think:

Fuel would be the answer, at least to the best of my limited knowledge LOL.
I tried to not make this one look as if it was out in the field for very long. Hopefully it is mission accomplished.

They are auxiliary fuel tanks for the long marches to the battles, they would be dumped on approach to hostilities hence the rack arrangement and the tank would switch to internal supply.
Trucks would follow way behind to collect the dumped tanks and re-fill them, depeding on the battles outcome would then replace them on the tank for the next journey.
T34 is looking really good!
