I agree those are valid arguments, but I think probably the best part of the "Laser Tag" system are the affects you can have when a hit is registered. I especially like the Elmod's ability to imitate combat damage like a track hit or engine problems. I believe in the future we will see much more sophisticated simulations. I think each tank should have a "projectile" code relative to the power of the weapon and each side of every tank should have a predetermined armor value so that damage can be calculated. Then random or predetermined damage could be simulated.
