Eastern...am not going to get into a flaming war with you over this. But i will answer you and hope to clear it up for others.

Yes we all start out looking at this that and the other for equipment. Some may know what they are looking for others may not. Over the past 30 odd years in professional spraying i have used and seen a lot of different equipment. Some good some not so good.
The point being is this. None of us have bottomless pockets to keep buying equipment when the 1st one didn't live up to your expectation. So what i was trying to do was to limit the pit falls in just that.

Yes they market these compressors with out tanks. But it dosn't meen they will match up or do the job we might expect from the bigger compressor with a tank. Some may also find after buying there airbrush they want to go into art work with it.If you have a low cfm compressor you will have you psi all over the place very quickly making the paint delivery very inconsistent. That would also go the same if you were spraying a camo patten.

So i was trying to point out.Think before you buy. as what may seem cheap now. May well cost you dubble in the future. After all there are 2nd hand units people can buy that would deliver better performance for the cost of one of the new no tank low cfm units.

Now i hope this has cleared things up a bit..I would pass you a beer Easten..but i have drunk them all..sorry ;)

You know the original post was from 29 December 2010.

Not sure why someone thought it needed bringing back to life.
