AndyT. Is that a plastic track. Not up to snow. If driving on the snow leave tank outdoors for a while to cool down or else ice will build up on the warm surfaces and clog.

I have my new 1/6 Tiger. Came home from sking for a few days. Bloody freezing here. Much warmer in the French Alps. Burst pipe in the kitchen but no water.

Enjoy those new tanks.

Hi Andy-T,
Loving the paint scheme on your tiger, hopefully mine will look similar to that in the near future !!!

Hi Stu77. Afraid I cant take credit for that as thats how the speciel editions come from the factory, ;D or Welsh Dragon I should say.

I think it does look good though and might leave it for a while .

As you can see the track came apart :/ so I am putting the metal tracks on earlier than I planned, I need to grow extra hands to hold the track together and put the pins in :lolno:

Regards Andy T

Th etrick is to wrap the tracks onto the sprocket and then put the pin in. One end of the pin is knurled, so you have to push the smooth end in first, the gently tap the knurled end in so that it grips into the plastic...though you may already know this!

Hi Wibbleywobbly and JohnF  thanks for the info, The plastic track pins just would not stay put and I just got carried away playing in the snow and forgot that :lolno:

I put the metal tracks on holding the two ends with a very small pair of snipe nose pliers and pushed the pins in that way.

Funny, I expected the new tracks to be the same length as the plastic ones, I counted the links on the plastic ones and took out 1 link on one metal track and added one on the other.... WRONG :/ :wtf: equaled them up on the metal tracks and they fit perfectly

Cheers for now Andy T

I got my first HL tank, a S&S Tiger 1, I was impressed that the machine gun flashes as standard now, thought I was going to have to upgrade to get a flashing one right from the start.
I had so much fun I have now obtained a faulty Bulldog to turn into a Cromwell as I am disappointed at the lack of British tanks available.

"Due to heightened aviation security measures taken by the United States of America concerning mail transportation to the country, all air mail services to the USA may be subject to delay."

US Homeland Security and US Customs Service pretty much shot Santa down this year...but on January 7th this package showed up at the door and I haven't really slept much in the last 4 days, having to much fun. This new re-released static kit uses the Panther G gearboxes, which are a perfect drop in fit and I am using a roof mounted servo in the turret for main gun elevation.
