Hi Dave It looks very nice ,should be completly water proof ,when the suspension arms are fitted the only way water could get in is the gearbox drive shafts, would need to have uprated springs to hold the weight, have you any Idea if they are making a Metal upper Deck and turret to fit this hull.
regards pete

Interested in seeing how these work out with builds. If anybody is trying to keep prices of hobby from partners, do'nt bother, just remind them how much they spend on shoes and handbags. In my case I feel justified in spending anything I want on my tanks. Although I will not tell her how much the surprise Christmas present she is buying me actually cost.

My woman has no say in how much I spend on my hobbies, but then, she doesn't have access to the bank acounts either.

I am interested in this as new products are a good sign in these financial times. As for the watertight issue my Asiatam lower hull does not stop water entering the hull through the control arms. And the space under the back plate is not water tight as well.b
It might be possible to install some type of seal to the control arms, these could be interesting modifications?
As far as the wife in concerned, no secretes after 20 years, but in 2 years I have collected 4-tanks and both the Tamiya's were bargains from Bubbajoexx. So I broke down the cost spread over 24months and it is less than taking the family out to a movie or to eat out.
