I wired the airsoft around the switch and used the switch for the lights. I also added a convoy light

Now I modified the battery bay so I'd have enough room for my VTx (Video Tx) battery a 3s 1000mah LiPo. I first cut o hole in the end then I added polystyrene sheeting to build a additional compartment.

Looking really good. You asked before about my Kursk paint scheme. Thought I sent you a pm with details but nothing went through. Luckily I saved details on my post also. If you cannot find it I Will pm again. Very interested in the camera. Was thinking About this myself but space is tight. Good luck with the smoker. I found it useless. Very little smoke but I'm using Elmod and maybe need it wired in differently.

The video equipment is extremely compact. VTx is about 20mmx25mm and the camera is smaller than a quarter. As for the Tx battery I use a Zippy Flightmax 20C 3s 1000mah ($6)which is very small. I have 2 and can virtually FPV nonstop if I like. I also have three NiMh packs for the tank and a 3s 4000mah for my VRx and video goggles. The tx/rx set w/camera is $50 from Hobby King but the camera I'm going to use I bought separately. Although there's nothing wrong with the one in the combo I just damaged mine and this one I had on hand and is actually more compact

Shoot me another PM if you don't mind, pun intended. This is my first Tiger build on the stock HL. I also have an Asiatam chassis I'm going to start assembling soon as well and it will be the 1331 "Kursk"

Thx Keith

I didn't get a lot done today as I had to be at work very early and had a very long day. I did build an enclosure for my convoy light so it's not visible from the engine compartment. I also repainted the rubber on the wheels and removed the RX18 casing for better cooling after I install these two Multiplex Permax 400 motors. Then I secured the Rx18 to the top of my new VTx compartment. I also secured the VTx antenna

The night before last I started my first attempt at scratching affects. I think some might be a bit over done while other parts came out well. I just need to add a color variant and some detail painting and seal it up it'll be ready to kill some Shermans.

I now have the Mato 3:1 brass gear boxes installed but the gears sound awful i need to get some valve grinding compound and break them in.

I also have a mount built for my camera which should clear the DBCRC2 if not I'll need to modify the mount once my DBCRC2 arrives. The video feed appears good I just need to take it to our battlefield http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... 152&t=6267" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and give it a trial run probably in the morning. I also have a track tensioner otw to see if I can keep it from throwing treads so badly.

I'm not quite done with my custom DAK paint on my Tiger I but I took it out to test the video system at our battlefield. results were good after I discovered one of my VRx was not working well. shanksow did get some footage of it in action with myself driving FPV sitting on the tailgate of my truck. Thanks shanksow :thumbup:Image Image
