Nice job. This is an idea we have talked about many times in Danville, Va at the AAF Tank Museum battlefield. I would love to see some video on youtube for your 2 man tank in battle. It would be very realistic and require great communication skills.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Gabriel,

Sorry if you took that the wrong way, its just ive ssen alot of cross forum acusations of people copying others ideas  :P :P  :-[  :D :D :D i thought this may have been an instance people at the same day of your response there is a post up on RCU about it  :o :o  :P :P  ;D ;D

i always tought about having two people to controll one tank, but never thought how to do it, untill then. i ket thinking of complicated ways, then this, simple way hit me right across the face.

Mate you go ahead and do it, its not like ive patented or copyrghted it lol :D :D

If you do do it, i would advise you to have the wires looser, like in zip ties for example, because A: it was a pain to get the wires into the sleeve and B: its very stiff, so there isnt a lot of flex between the two people controlling the tank.

cheers bud,

Matt

Ive just had to do a simular thing with an old panzer III ive got. When i got it, the boards were fried. My 4yr old son, for whom the tank ws intended was pritty upset. I couldnt afford new boards, so i ripped open two super cheap Niko two channel rc cars ( one with proportional speed) and used thier inerds for the tank. The proportional speed board powers the drives, and it works realy well, and the 2nd two channel board controls the turret and barrel elivation. The two hand sets are either strapped together for one person, or seperate for two people. I had my son and daughter teamimg up againts me the other night, James driving and Megan aiming at me.Loads of fun!

Older and some current radio systems produced by futaba have a buddy jack so new pilots can train with the help of more experianced pilots, but this is a new application, the idea may be old but you have created a new use and a new system.Saxondog
