Hi pete, Thanks for the thumbs up. Is there any other recoil available? Still learning with the airbrush. Just a cheap one that came with the compressor. Starting to get the hang of it. When I started I could'nt get precision sorted. Now I know 40 psi is not the best pressure. Started using it on figures now.

My Asiatam recoil now works well thanks to assistance and photos provided by Dominique at rctanks.de
Basically I needed to wire the red wire to power lead. Back to work on tank and crew now.

I have a metal oil drum to fit. Were these just attached to the hull with chains or rope or were they fitted to a cradle of some sort?

Made some camo netting. Gause bandage. Spray painted. Looks OK.

John, you are using the asiatam recoil unit with elmod? If so can you explain exactly how you wired it?

Hi,
Got it working now. I did'nt have fitting instructions. I have now connected wire from recoil to power lead. Got instructions from Dominique at RCTANK.DE. Hope to add up to date photos soon. Got a lot more work done now.

Thanks,
John

Hmm, I find that sometime when the main gun is fired it continues to recoil and will not stop unitl I shut off power to the tank. I thought I had that fixed, but I guess not.

John, The crew members are excellent. Sorry for this late reply but the Tamiya King Tiger recoil works well and Dietrich has a mod that really gives the barrel movement the correct action.
