Hi xrad, Just airsoft. Need more space for my collections. Have lots of uniform and equipment gear also and no space in my hobby room to display. Will have to build an extension.

Nice wall John, mine is much smaller but living in Tennessee they all shot. Right to carry laws here in the south encourages gun ownership to all non-felon citizens. But my only military weapon is an M1-Carbine,Korean war error that belonged to my Father -in-law. That wall of yours must of taken some time to collect? Do you have any real Grossdeutschland Division uniforms, or insignia? I would like to see some of your uniforms as I am sure it will be as impressive as your wall and Tiger are.
cheers Saxondog

No real stuff, Just repro. Have an SS Grenadier majors uniform Viking div.
SS Sgt Major vIKING div, Full kit, Pea dot camo. Also an SS Panzer Lt Col Black. Think the panzer uniform has the Grossdeutschland wristbands. Thought uniforms would add some interest to WW2 airsoft but nobody else here interested and there are lots of Polish and Russion people playing airsoft here so would draw too much fire. Even my girlfriend is not crazy about my collection as she is Serbian and was would prefer if I had a red army collection. I'm not a nazi or anything just like their style. What other army had uniforms by Hugo Boss. Cannot have real guns here. Surprised that it's possible to have even airsoft here.

I agree with you about the look and design. That is why I build German tanks, too.
As with the clothes, who else built a tank with parts from Siemens, Daimler,Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen, Jurid, Maybach, Krupps and many other high quality companies still around today.....
lucky for us, the best stuff(overall engineering) was in the wrong hands.

Haha, I hear you there John! My friend got me into airsoft a while ago, still building up my collection. The stupid nanny state/VCR Bill that treats us like idiots.
What other country do you need a legal excemption to own a replica gun, but only have to be over 18 to own a decativated REAL gun!
I prefer American gear personally, i'm desperate for a decent airsoft M1 Garand. My friend is keeps trying to get me to get some German gear though.
Cheers,
Rik

I believe maruzen or Marushin do one. My friend has their Kar 98 and it is excellent quality. fires 8mm bbs. expensive though. Our laws are not as bad as UK as far as the colours rule goes. We just have the 1 joule rule.

I've seen the Marushin one, and it's really nice. Unfortunately it doesn't make a good skirmishing weapon, because of the 8mm bb's, you have to lower the power considerably on most UK airsoft sites to keep the FPS down. Doing that you loose all range. It's a good plinker though, and looks amazing being fired, especially when it ejects the clip!
For WWII airsoft, i'd just use a TM Thompson, good and reliable. I've not heard of the 1 joule rule? Here, once you have a valid exemption, such as being a UKARA registered airsofter, of a member of a re-enactment grop or museum, you don't need to have the gun painted.
Also, you Tiger looks awesome!

How are the asiatam wheels?
Cheers,
Rik

Asiatam wheels are fine. I fitted the to the asiatam hull so did'nt expect any problem. This tiger is no boy racer although that probably the elmod keeping thing more real. Did'nt weigh it yet but it is quite heavy. Still more work to do. Working on some crew at the moment. My airbrush is acting up a bit. Think I damaged the nozzle. Just a cheap honk kong starter one so not too bothered. I have put some pictures of ongoing figure painting progress. I must check the weight. It still managed to drive up the doorstep into the kitchen from the garden and on over a load of boots in it's way. Did'nt feel any heat from the boards. I am using a 7.2v 3800 battery.
