I think it is being marketed as Matorro/ Mato, not Heng Long.

Also, a bit early to tell if production model will be the same but on the pictures i've seen on the web the chassis still has zimmerit replicated on it at the front and rear per the king tiger but the armour is smooth on the new upper body moulding.

I would definately ditch the hull and use tammy hull with metal wheels/tracks. The asiatam/tammy upgrade to my KT was awsome.

I would like to see a true side profile shot of the JT Matorro to check scale..

It only comes with the front & rear fenders..

You guys should also be careful who you deal with, regarding that site take a close look at where the Glacis Armour & Bow meet, some of these "sellers" aren't mentioning that a few of these are coming out with a bad production/Assembly fault.

If I find one with this fault I knock it out at discount rates

I don't have permission as a vendor so I will say know more.

I can see that unfortunately there are some major discrepancies with the real tank.

1) Hull length
2) rear deck too low
3) right front air vent too small
4) No track guards
5) front hull bulge
6) front and rear armor plate weld seams

Some positives:
1) nice citadel detail
2) nice gun and rear deck detail
3) Henschel running gear looks good

I would consider purchasing this but then mod it for the tammy hull and HL electronics. I think it would make a good project and save a ton of time if you don't want to build it all yourself. Maybe my final tank in the jagpanzer/panzerjager series......

love it..a comment that is rumour promoting at best,any comment should be qualified with source fact ,to long have we had to put up with baseless comments
Warwick from Awesome Hobbies ,,just a heads up there arent any design defects as the base is the matarro King Tiger and all metal upgrades are already available .We deal direct with the factory and have heads up on just about everything ,original design was all new bottom and there were hitches they couldnt get right so they opted out to put in on the King undercarriage that was quite a while ago
For the record I would discount a faulty product it would be returned to the factory for a credit ,matarro would be most un happy to see substandard tanks bargained out and advertised as defective ,All our sales are guaranteed against mamufacturing faults.with replacement policies in place...happy modelling
