Hi, we OEM it from an professional manufacture in China. You may say it is for this tiger I. Actually it's sound is very close to Tamiya. And BAS system is compatible with Trumpet and Tamiya. Maybe you can give me some advices on sound system.

Advice:
Less expensive and better made is always BEST!
Is body aluminum or steel?

You are absolutly right. But less cost always comes bad quality. I may say reasonable cost better quality.
Body is aluminum coming with different thickness from 2mm to 6mm acording to the real tiger I.

Great job on the metal thickness! That allows the builder to countersink and hide any mounting screws! or even tap teh hull for screws if needed.

Hi Very nice work ,is this your web site
http://www.aero-mate.com/product.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If so are you spreading into making models.Try your best to make your Tiger 1 under the price of a Tamiya,contact Impact they make the best Tracks they also know about Tamiya battle systems here is there Web site
http://www.mitosal.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Maybe you could work together to bring us a full metal Tiger with Tamiya compatable battle system .This would be the best tank out there then.
regards pete

I like to paint a desert yellow for my tiger I. First, my paiting skill is poor. Second, guys like you want see this beast all metal colors! So I let it shiny for a while.

Hello Aero-mate:
Just a thought on drive gearboxes. Impact gearboxes are very sturdy, but NOT well finished (poor machining on shafts and bores and gearteeth). HOWEVER, Impact gearbox speed WITH drop down gear and 11 tooth motor pinion is nearly scale speed for Tiger. Stock Tamiya gearboxes are too fast for scale speed, but fairly well made. WIth 3:1 reduction at pinion, Tamiya boxes are scale speed. I am sure you can manufacture your own gearboxes, so here are some ideas.
Please consider:
1) a nearly identical gear ratio to Impact boxes(WITH standard Impact drop down gear ratio included)
2) two quality bearings on the final driveshaft.
3) Better machining/finishing
4) bronze bushings on shafts as needed
5) NO plastic parts
Cheers
