Yes,the resistor would limit the voltage slowing down the speed of the motor.

Thanks,I put on some reading glasses and could tell,I run these in my Tiger,never a problem.I have one 480bb race 7.2 but need a twin if you run across one. I have talked with Bubba,smart man. He has been very helpful in our project.I hope my KT Turns out half as well as yours. Cheers Blake
