I have made a .30 cal. gun mount . Its not 100% correct as the up right piece should have a slight curve , but I can live with that . The shields more accurate . I just need to make a holder to fit inside the hole were it sits , as it appears slightly raised in the pict . As its clipped onto the top for the picts . The gun then can rotate and elevate.

I have re worked the hatches as they were to small and Ive found out from war time and curret pictures of wrecked LVTs that the hatches seem to sit flush with the hull and have a raised lip around them rather than reccesed into the hulls. So Ive now done this . I used paper clips bent into the shape of the frames for the lips . Just need to sort the hinges ? Thanks Daisycutter as for your question Im not sure yet . When I waterproofed a HL Tiger tub I put rubber washers either side however I never tested it as had a change of plans . Yer night mare with boats but what about planes !

All the best Andy

Hi Nick great turret . The rear engine hatch opens . This hinges at the rear but dont think it will give uus much access ? I want as much sealed as possibly realy .
