i have to agree with ex pat' , combining both HL and elmod, not a good idea, i went the whole hog all elmod, for me the best thing i have done for my tank, with all elmod matt, you will not need a fan in the tank for cooling, my tiger weighs nearly 12lbs, and since the elmod conversion i have never had a problem, the thermal cutout hasnt even cut in,
if you want a cheap repair to your hl board take a look here
http://www.rc-panzerketten-forum.com/wb ... 96c&page=1 its the mod' what nigel der englander thought up, its cheap and easy to do, aparantly, i got nigel to do this for katies p3 she's getting at xmas, so i know shes got a good runner out of the box, i think when nigel resigns up on here(his account got wiped when the site went down)he was going to do a how to on this matter. when you click on the link it is halfway down the page

if you get the "extra" solder try removing it as it's causing a short and if you havent powered to much through the fets you may be good
this happened on my T34 removed the solder and no problems

you will need a elmod thinktank booster prop chip m , and a thinktank tls chip for 4 channel set up or the thinktank tls c4 chip for the 6 channel set up , mind you you need a compatible tx for the 6 channel version , futaba c7, hitec eclipse 7 are compatable and i think the hitec lazer 6 is, you can use any 4 channel tx for the 4 channel set up
all the best ,ICE
oh yes if you go for theprop 6 you will also need a prop 6 wire set

matt if you go full prop' you will need a booster, tls(you got that)and for sound, a blaster, and a radio set, personally i would go for a futaba, and like ex pat' said a csi for battling, but you dont need it for the tank to work, if your not sure about all this, then email thomas at elmod, he will put you right
