The one thing that amazes me about Elmod is their website, it could be a lot clearer, and it could be improved no end. Their descriptions of what their products actually do, how they are installed, and problem solving, are virtually non-existent. I may contact Thomas at some point and offer to revamp it for them, so that at the very least they have a full English version that conforms to what we usually expect, instead of what they currently provide.

hi Rob G
Are the units that were added to the elmod site in March, Tank modules ECO & PRO, the new modules or is there another about to come out? It's also showing new Sound Blaster IV added in March.

hi Rob G
got the new el-mod econ and blasterIV today and it's much better than the earlier version. New connectors, HL flash unit now fits straight on (no extra board needed) and the new blaster IV has lots more tank options and the sd card is easier to get at.
I've installed it in the Jagdtiger and used the turret commands to activate voices.

Plus the IR if you need it? Probably works out the same as the old version. Thomas was saying on Panzerketten that the Eco version has the same functionality as the old version, its really only the connectors that have changed. It does look as though they have listened to feedback and made the units more user friendly, which is a big step forward. Being able to reprogram via a USB link is the biggest bonus in my book.
