Hi Raven the needle slide at the rear of your airbrush when you press the air button then pull back the paint mix make sure the needle slides back I have one similar to this and sometimes it dosnt move when you pull the paint trigger back ,make sure its free.

If you think about what's happening.air blow back into the paint bottle, chamber.Ok that eliminates every part past the trigger assembly. The issue only happens when you push or slide the trigger assembly correct? The the problem has to be parts 3-6.Only parts that could block or restrict air passing over the passage to the paint chamber.Air should only move one direction,so what could cause that direction to change? Just my 2-cents, Blake

I'm not sure if this applies to your airbrush raven, but mine did a similar thing. I couldn't work it out until I took it apart and found the thread on the fluid nozzle had snapped and it wasn't being held in place. Air was being blown back into the paint cup.

Of course I don't have any spares, lol. Just when I was about apply the final camo colour.... ;)

I'd say take it all apart and check for any damage to parts, and the ruber seals.

Cheers,
RIk
