When he switched the motor Leeds the problem did not go to the commander side, would not the problem change sides if it were in the receiver board or RX18 unit? This is for sure a weird situation,Yellowshaker when it is resolved please post for future reference. I am out of idea's.sorry

Don't throw in the towel yet, tauchpanzer is not a tank I have any experience with.Their are some on this forum who do have that experience and They will get involved, every one likes to solve a problem that appears to be unsolvable. And this thing well get solved, because it does not make any sense for the tank to be responding this way.Go back through the mechanical issues, track length,Sprocket alignment,Idler wheel alignment, gudie wheels, road wheels. If no problem is found then give the forum A little more time.I am going to ask a few members about this,I will get back to you. Thanks Sax. I bought this thing with the intention of putting it for sale at a local hobby shop, but as usual it grew on me. Now I want to get this problem fixed and keep it, that's why I spent so much on the lower hull. I really appreciate any info you can find. I just meausured up the tracks and they are even. Everythign seems like it's in very good alignment. I just don't know...

I am sure with all the members here we can figure this out.I've sent PM's to several members that are pretty experienced with this Tank. Most members love the Tauchpanzer, and it has a good history of being a runner with very few issues.Has this tank ever run without this problem? And if the answer is yes what changed? I'm just throwing Idea's at you.And I can tell you my TIGER has driven me crazy over a problem that cones and goes with my gun system,so I and other members can relate to frustrating operational issues.Sometimes when working on bikes I have to step back, and I always ask myself the same question"am I smarter than this machine" and some times the machines wants to argue that point.Hang in their, that the great thing about this forum, member actually care. They want to help, and to solve problem. So don't drop kick it just yet. Cheers Blake

I bought this used form a member of RCU after he stripped the elecronics for a project tank. I decided to go with all the good stuff in it and it's pulled from the first time I tested it out. I rememebr turning the transmitter on and the tank switch and made sure the trims were set to the center and when it started, you could hear the ticking as the motor was just beginning to engage. I knew right then I had a problem...

for my pennys worth i would change the rx18 out just in case you say you get a ticking noies sounds like a trim put the tank on the floor and when it is on slowly move the two trims up and down if it stops then try another trasnmitter. see if you get the same pull to one side it sounds like a board or trasnmitter job i may be wrong but give it a go thanks dave
