Hi Forgebear Had recoil units for the Stug for sale they drop right in replace the BB gun dont have to change much to have the recoil unit but they do work a bit backwards slow back fast forward as standard ,but they can be modified to work fast back slow forward, and they dont cost much ,the other option is the asiatam one but these have been known to be unreliable,it is also posible to fit a Tamiya recoil but the turret mounts will need to modified,Or you could modifie the BB gun to recoil its not easy but posible,I have one that works but the second one refuses to work ,still trying to solve it when I get time.

Hey Pete, how are you doing airsoft with recoil? I have the older Creeping Death recoil,it is a servo cable attached to a sleeve in the first section of barrel attached to the mantel, then the plastic stock barrel is modified with the extension piece used to correct the barrel length. But here is the thing, the servo is powered directly from the battery, when you fire the gun(VS GUN) the limit switch complete the ground side of the servo power circuit and you have recoil, the barrel pulls back, when the barrel cycles back the gun fires, breaking contact of the limit switch.Servo loses power and the barrel sleeve is spring loaded, the spring pushes the barrel back out. Well that how it is designed to work if all things are operating in perfect unison.I would like to know how your design works? Blake
