I think his price is probably two fingers up to all the negative discussion about what price he was asking before.

Pretty funny really, I like his attitude. Good on you mate.

Oh for ****sake!! There's been 2 threads about this on RCU already 8O Enough!! :-<

I don't know what he's hoping for either (but I will ask him next time I see him for those of you who really are that curious :S ) but I'm bored of seeing this get reposted and everybody asking what he's been smoking :-<

I'll tell you what I think/know - there was one that went for almost that much NIB in Japan - Tom figures his full option Tamiya conversion has to be worth more to somebody out there...
With Hooben poised to flood the market with cheap(er) RTR Elephants, and 2 kids to eat thru his wallet, can you really blame a guy for trying to cash in on a rare item while he still can??
He's not demanding that anybody pay it, so why bash the guy? :wtf: I've seen far worse go for more on Ebay, you just have to find the right numpty willing to pay...

Ex pat,

Thats a little unfair.

Firstly, I don't care that this has been posted on rcu twice, thats down to them, I'm reading the thread on THIS site.

Secondly, If you're bored of reading about this tank, don't open the thread. If its of no interest to you it doesn't mean its of no interest to others on this site does it? I don't feel the need to open each and every thread on here, I open those that interest me and leave those that don't , simple really. This is obviously of interest to people on here as can be seen by the number of replies, I'm interested in what those people have to say.

Finally, As recoil quite rightly said, this is possibly a tongue in cheek response to previous postings, good for him, the guy's probably got what he wanted....more interest in his tank. We're just getting into the spirit of things. I'm sure we all know he isn't forcing anyone to buy it, however that shouldn't stop us from commenting on the subject if we wish.....or do we have to submit our thoughts/ideas to make sure they're all the same before we post? If its of no relevence to our hobby or offensive I'm sure the mods will do whats right.

Having got that of my chest, I'm going to rip the guts out of my tiger 1.........and it better not fight back.

Martin I can't get onto RCU, so the post on here is new to me, as ABO said you don't have to read every post on here,
I read topics if the title looks interesting if it does not then I don't read the topic.
this is a free forum with out the over selous moderators like RCU have and anyone is allowed to post any thing as long as it is reasonably clean and not too off the wall.
