hi pete as this is a private (non public) non irad meet do we really need insurance ?? Its just a group of guys driving tanks on the beach ?

Hi Matt the insurance is exactly what you need ,if some muppet falls over one of the tanks you have third party cover so he cant sue your butt off,also covers for radio interferance,Robert told me about a case of a guy with a model plane hit a pylon and took out half a town (he didnt have insurance and boy did he get it)o.k. not likly to take out a pylon but it is a beach with public wondering around if they fall over one of the tanks you can bet they will sue.

well said pete, you need insurance if you run you tank or other RC vehicle, boat, plane in a public place.

Just to clarify. I took out the insurance at Cobbaton I think it was last year. Is this the same, and did it expire at the end of 2009, and if so, am I correct in thinking that I cough up some cash at Weston and take it out again for this year?

same i paid the £15 at cobbo for it too would be a shame for it to go to waste :(
