Pete it operates using a servo if you go to his you tube site you can see it moving if not the pics are on the other forum..... sorry about that Pete........

I love this mod as well and want to do it.

Probably best done with big tank like a tiger or KV1 so that you have more room for the components. A battery on the engine deck is just plain silly.

The batteries could be made to fit inside with a bit of creativity. They could even go in the turret.

I think it does have value for battling though, when your tank is on its last legs and can no longer move you can change down a gear and probably it will move again but very slowly, but perhaps enough to move into a better firing position.

no chance Al.. you never be up against the smart tankers that i have to battle against,
but would love to see one of the modded tanks in the flesh .Fleshy...........
