Alllrrriiiggghhhttt! Lookin good. Not from my suggestions, from your work. Now you have put some time into it and there is positive improvement!
If you learn from this tank, the next will be only better.
Cheers

I love tanks that have been made to look like they have been across several countries and survived a multitude of attacks. Great work!

Wow!! thanks alot guys. It's nice to be on a forum that actually gets some feedback. I like to post pics while in the process so I can get some info and thoughts from others. You picked out a few hings for me to improve on what I was doing. I appreciate that. this little tank is a great runner. Even without gear reduction. I am waiting for some parts to arrive to finish her up so i will expand on this post when it's done.

Today I received the Asiatam recoil unit along with a few other little goodies. As usual nothing goes easy wenit's my own stuff. lol. The recoil unit was for a larger tank, maybe a tiger 1 so I needed to make several modifications to make it work in the PzIII. I anjoy the builds, so not a problem at all, just taking a bit more time than I first thought. I fitted everything tonight and wired it up. Everything works and tomorrow I'll try to get her back together and post some pics.

looking very weathered , i like it, when it comes to rubber tyres i always do mine a very dark grey with a bit of brown ink in the mix, if you look at tyres that have been used or part worn they arnt black, apart from new spares,
