and why's the churchill ugly.. i think it looks awsome

ok with track guards it looka a bit ood, but without them its cool, or like the one in the forum banner

Who is to say the guy giving out the info about 2 british tanks is right......

..unless he is Mr Tamiya.
I read on antoher website that there was much Tamiya interest in the Elephant. That is where my bet lies.
Is the Elephant German....hmmmmm...... Is Porsche German?

I'd like to see a Matilda. I don't really have the cash for Tamiya tanks at the moment unless they undergo a drastic price restructure but if Tamiya release it chances are HL will come out with a knock off.

Hmmm...I saw some jap guys crawling over and under the Tiger at Bovington taking pics of every last nut and bolt in close up, as to whether they were Tamiya guys in anyone's guess. In all honesty, if they were going to produce a scale model of a Challenger they would get their measurements from the MOD?
If they can produce a Challenger, then they can also produce a Centurion, as according to one of the tank crew they are very similar.
If Tamiya are going to produce something new, it is going to have to be something that will sell in big numbers. To sell volume it has to be affordable, so if they go the £700 route it is going to take them an awful long time to get their development costs back.
I would say either an Abrams (due to the mass US market), and/or something else from WW2. Stugs and P3's are unlikely contenders as fitting the Tam electrics and gearboxes into either would be a struggle.
Mind you, I never pick the winning lottery ticket numbers either!

Sweet!
Hopefully a Centurion - they've released a 1/35th and 1/25th so have enough material for that and my other guess would be something modern like a Challenger II
Can't wait!
