hi ive got the bismark the whole 149 copies but now my fingers wont let me do the small brass etch so its all put away and never started :crazy:

Being from a warship forum ( stop booing at the back) i can tell you that out of 17 members who started a bismarck only 1 finished it,

What scale is it in? I've seen some of those battleship models, and they're quite impressive. I don't know if I could do the tiny PE on those sets, it's bad enough doing it in 1/16! My fingers are way too big for anything smaller, lol.

hi rik it about three foot long loads of brass and wood and is made by hachette build the bismarck :crazy:

I have all the parts (I hope) for the Red Baron model sitting in a box in a wardrobe. I'm sure I'll get around to it one day.
On a side note I hope this thing is never released in Australia, I would never pay that sort of money for a static model but at $10 a week it would be tempting.

Thats a big bugger! lol :D I've seen the 1/350 scale Iowa class models. The look interesting to build, but require a LOT of patience, so many tiny parts!

I'm sure Trumpeter will get round to doing a static Tiger with full internals eventually. The T-34 and King Tiger kits are very impressive, but as you say, its a lot of money for a static kit.
