yes vincent look in now and then ...
and also a few other sites ...
hes actualy very interested in armour him self and is a fine modeller too
hes one of the team at matorro at put the ideas together and looks for ideas .. i asked hiim to join in with us
but the rules of his company dont allow that .. shame realy
but vincent and me are good mates and we often swap kitts that he cannnot get as he's in china .. even parts from suppliers here in the uk get shipped back to china .. interesting hay !
one interesting commet vincent mad a few weeks befour xmas was about the hoobins t-55 .. he said as a model its just superb .. and is thay get the electronisc sourted out it will be among the best tanks on the market ... the problem is the supply of the rx-18 boards ... the ressesion has shruk production in the semi conductor works and the chips them selfs are a problem to sorce ..
the elephant is well on the way ... hoobins hope to show it at nuremberg toy fair .. and vincent says there 90% done the tank its self is just mouth watering ... and the rumning gear is by the same company that make them for asiatam ... but to reduce costs the suspension arms and mounts will be metal but the raod wheels are plastic .. the trackes are plastic .. the sprockets are metal .. and fitted with a 4 to 1 gearbox at the back of the tank .....
the future seems to hold out some great promis of new tanks ... the one in the not to distant future is the hetzer ... 1/16 but i dont know which version ... and also a stug 4 and maybe the l-70lanf ... from Hl ... and a brummbar form matorro .. is also possible ... butits down to availible production space ...and one i would love to see is the m-24 chaffee ! ( buldog based ) we all know about the sherman ... and a firefly is on the card .. but who will be first ... tamiya ? hl ?
