yes me too i have been thinking about the front end a bit ..and woundeing if i should cover the bow machine gun or not ??

Definitely. Also, only a single drivers hatch in the center of the front hull. Reactive armour would hide the rest

Just done some checking. The first Magachs were M48 Pattons with revised engines, transmisions, gun sights etc.
The first Magach to have any real mods to armour etc was the Magach 3 which was still based on the Patton.

dont for get this is a what if ...
i nave been looking at a single drivers hatch .... and that is a massive mod to this hull top ... so not sure if i will go that far

The M48 based magach 3 (M48A1 & A3) and 5 (M48A5) only had the Blazer reactive armour.
The first Passive armoured Magach's were M60's
