As for the torsion bars, they are still the harder ones. I purchased the softer ones but due to the weight I did not need them. The tank rides very realistic the way it is.

good choice on the support bearings for your tanks final drive
I used them because they had ball races in them instead of brass bushes

Yelloshaker: can you post some video of your tank in action?? I built a very heavy JP and love the realistic motion as well.

I'll be happy to post some more video as soonas I get my new battery in for the thunder 1. Seems I got a shorted one. There is some video of it on youtube though.
