I can't recommend the stock HL KV. The plastic is soft and the idlers tear right off. My idler was broken off before I opened the box. I had read about the issues and only ordered one because I could get the Asiatam hull shipped with it.

She's getting closer. I must own the world's crapiest digital camcorder because this is as good as it gets. It doesn't help that it's about 10deg outside and I'm trying to drive in gloves. :wtf:

Thanks MT, she weighs around 13lbs on the bathroom scale. These asiatam tracks don't hold the pins in at all once they loosened up. Great since you can't remove the sprocket to take the tracks off, but that little run prolly loosened 5 pins. I'll be hitting them with superglue as I finish with the final details.

Some crappy update photos from my cellphone. Wish I knew where the memcard for the Nikon wandered off to. A few more sitdowns and the KV-1 will be complete. To celebrate, I ordered a Panther G this morning.

I finally created a TC that I love. Ivan the Impailer. His body came in a Star Wars 2pk, so I had to find something to do with the salamander thing. ;D We'll just lump him in with the children of chernobyl.
