Hi Sofapilot welcome to the site I bought a pershing off of ebay recently as well and I was very impressed it sounds and runs great.

the Tamiya Pershing is a nice model kit for a first time tank.
I reccomend that you replace the bushes in the road wheels with ball bearing races to get an even better perfomance from the tank
I did this modification to my pershing, in fact I bought the bearing upgrade kit before I bought the tank kit.
