There is no way to use longer cans if you have the inboard style units at the top of the picture - the motor connections all but touch as it is

I'm surprised. maybe the Tiger hull is narrower than I thought. I have at least 10mm room between motor backs (not leads) in my PIII. But I am also using the Asiatam? gearboxes which look similar to your top pic.

Mart could you give us a side shot of the boxes?
