Like Blake I emailed their Customer Support about metal/rubber wheels and the reply is "I'm sure the prototype model that we received came with metal wheels and a rubber rims" so I'd say unconfirmed :S
I also queried the demo mode they mention as that suggests the old 3-channel electronics and not the swappable crystals. They confirm it is the programmable version so that throws in doubt smoke/sound. Are they mixing up descriptions of two versions that will be available :wtf:

They have not responded to my questions about the wheels or really anything else,I re-submitted and still no answer? I know that they are mis-representing their product but who's going to correct them,If they were really selling Panther-G with all these options they would sell out in a day.Another member has one on order but they keep telling him the order is pending? I received a E-Mail from a fellow named MICK@Nitro-tek.He said they don't have any in stock for him to check but he stated that the offer does not include metal road wheels, they are standard plastic, the drive and idler wheels are metal.no clarification on the sound module. So it seems they are aware of some issues with their description and they may alter it to be more accurate.the response was polite and very courteous, but like all big on-line vendors they are not hands-on guy's.Dave had Panthers in hand and sold, shipped, delivered and these guy's are still waiting for stock.Well I think I have posted fairly concerning their reply,as with most things in today's world you get what you pay for,and personal service is very valuable, worth more than a few dollars saved.
