Hi Blake, I couldn't find a picture of a German tank in urban or night fighting cammo anywhere so I'm using the Chieftain in the pic posted by Pete as a guide for the cammo pattern. ( Try searching 'Berlin camo' on google. ) I've revised the colour scheme though. The jagd has been given a base coat of panzer grey and the disruptive block pattern will be done in black and white. I think mine could be classed as a 'paper' cammo scheme so I'm trying to use colours that would have been available in the last few months of the war. Hopefully I'll get it finished today and post some pics tomorrow.

Cheers
John

Thanks John, can't wait to see your Jagdpanther.I did not consider the availability of Paint, but you have raised an relevant issue. Also I will not be starting until after Christmas on painting my Jagdpanther. So will do some more research, and if I come across any photos of urban camo I will post here. cheers Blake

this panther probably isn't in a night camo but i couldn't think of a better scheme for that particular kind of job.

Hey Oz,where on earth is this Panther? Have never scene one painted that way.I have been looking most of today at camo links but this never came up,looks like red oxide primer bleeding thru under the darker color. cheers Sax

Now that is PROPER urban camo! Even in 1:35 the panzerhaubitze 2000 is a big model.
You could use the Hobby Engine Leo 2 as a starting point for the project Iain. It would certainly be a challenge.

Use the tracks and gearboxes from the HL Pershing. It takes about 40 extra track links and a little bit of dremmelling/drilling. But from what I've seen you would have it running around the floor in under 30 minutes. :) :)
