I think in your first two photos of today I see a tool for bending photo-etched or even plastic, right?

Not a huge fan of resin kits, but this looks like it will be great when it's finished.

Looked like it. I picked one up a few years ago and I only use it on occasion, but when it's needed it's really a timesaver.
