Youโll be fluent in Doric, and Kent awe about quines, loons and mannies, and wifies?
This can really confuse people, and some on here think we are all mad. There are even some who find haggis abhorrent.
We have the North West (not been on for ages), South West (Largs? On very occasionally) Yon posh side, over in Edinburgh, Cowal Peninsula, West of Glasgow. There was a loon with a Challenger in Perth (got what he wanted, and has never been seen since), Glasgow, and a few others who I am unable to recall at the moment. So that is Scotland well represented.
I think for a meeting in Scotland we will need to travel.

Yeh Scotland is well represented on here but then we have the neighbours (England they dont like Haggis but were not fond of jellied eels) pretty well represented as well

Hello from over the sea, VVhitesnake. I see that you already have the dope on the HengLong sound sets. I do hope you get the
Kรถnigstiger with the correct sound set. The HengLong 7.0 is so much easier to control than even the 2017 and later Torro/Taigen, although with more limited sound options. However, MeterRat is correct (as he usually is): if it has the wrong sound set, it's a send-backer.
If you can get to a group meet of RC AFV nuts, go for it! I have nothing within a few hundred miles of my location, and I know that having others show me "how to" would help me, for good electro-mechanical skills do not come naturally to a retired academic, even after 25 years of fumbling.

Hi Guys

!
Nice one @Meter Rat! Yes I am a bit familiar with Doric and ken what you on about

! Originally I'm from Lithuania, but been living in Aberdeen for a good couple of years now

! It would be nice to meet up of course one day, especially once I get into the hobby and get to know a thing or two about modding (I'm completely clueless when it comes to electronics for RC stuff but would like to learn!) I am more of a Desktop Computer geek and I'm also into Airsoft and Gaming as well so I'm kind of expanding the list of my hobbies here

hopefully not going to get my hands full and forget the reality quickly lol

!
@Stormbringer, Haggis is the shizz

! Can't beat the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties dinner

!
@Herr Dr. Professor, Hey there

thanks for the welcome! And that's good to know about some benefits of the Henglong v7.0! I can't wait to get my hands on it and without doing anything else (in case I need to return it) first thing I'm testing is the engine sounds

!

Oh well. Thereโs an interesting story. A Lithuanian biding in Aberdeen? Some good drinking dens in Aberdeen. My favourite is the Tiki Bar, (Krackattoa. Used to be known as the Moorings) on the Harbour Side, and Under the Hammer, off Union Street,.

Hey
Yeah, I came to Aberdeen to study and then kinda stayed after

!
Oh yeah Krakatoa is probs my main go to for Rock/Metal music and some Gigs, also the Tunnels or even Drummonds can still be a good fun

! Used to be more things going on when I just came in 2009, lol good ol' times

!
Actually, one more change with my King Tiger order

! I've cancelled the AlieExpress order and ordered one from Haya UK! Can't wait! Let's go Panzer Battalion

Lots of RCTW folks use AliExpress, but Andrew Haya is a good fellow. I used to order quite a bit from him, and a few years ago he even went out of his way to help me with a slight problem I couldn't figure out. Alas, for me overseas ordering for now is hopeless.

Hey

!
Well my KT didn't cost that much, probably just about ยฃ20 more for Haya UK, but at least it's sourced locally so hoping for better delivery times + support which I'm sure that's going to be the case

Andrew is also VERY good when things don't go to plan. Similarly Dave (Forgebear) who I tend to get more stuff from.
