I envy you having 2 more to do.

They are in the Tamiya pricing stratosphere by the time new ones get to Canada. I love the JT and also my Sturmtiger. Both ridiculous vehicles but so much fun to model and run around outside with

Superb work, I love this type of tank I have one waiting (Torro) from a few years ago, bought second-hand, in its wooden box... €350 today? Almost €700. At one point I wanted to sell it, but then changed my mind. Right now I'm struggling to adapt servo-driven recoil to it, and it's not easy... at least not for me and my big fingers.

I really just got lucky and hooked up with a dude who let some go cheap. 2 of them were older and had the asiatam recoil and elevation. The last one was servo. My original Jagdtiger thats now Y1 came straight from Deutschland. From torro that was full price and the most i paid for any of my fleet
.... but I NEEDED IT!!!
Im hunting for a tamiya jagdtiger now but not real hard.... Im pretty sure they exist. Ive seen 1 for sale and missed it it was 500 bucks. I scored a tamiya tiger 1 on of the first ones i had. they are nice models. And good runners. I dont beat on it but run it plenty and had no problems with the tamiya.
The ridiculous worthless ones are the ones I like as well!!! They are the most fun!! Ive always like the jagdtiger since I got in RC. It was a little disappointing to find out how bad they were hahahahah but the torros run good!! I like tank destroyers but dont have a stugg the most produced most killing ones hahahaha well not yet...
Its a fun hobby

Thank you very much for the kind words!.and yeah they aint cheap!!! Is the servo binding up? Mine on Y1 did that after I a painted the barrel. The asiatam I didn't replace gets stuck back when it happens I run it in a ditch and say the crew abandoned it!! drained that recoil cylinder and let one go!!

Yes, indeed, there are often problems with the Asiatam system. But you can open it; it's quite easy. Check that the grease isn't dried out, which can cause the mechanism to jam. You can also disconnect the barrel and operate it to see if the problem persists.
