I am saddened at this news, Of course I pray for a full recovery,
It is something that worries many of us in our advancing years my family has a history of such developments which is why I continue to take a Statin Tablet every morning in the hope that unlike our good friend Mr Meter Rat I am spared this dreadful event.
Come back to us soon fully recovered to keep on displaying to the wider world why the Tiger 1 is a waste of an RC Modellers time and money.
Mrs Meter Rat sell nothing he won't thank you when he comes back to find his work has been sold,
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Oh, ma'am, please do keep us informed, for we will all be hoping, praying, and worrying. Ian has been so kind to us, and I especially remember his advice when I was in Glasgow a few years ago. I see that you share his sense of humor, and such is an essential for quick recovery.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

My father (a long-time RC modeler) had a massive stroke 10 years ago. He's much better now, although the use of his right leg and arm hasn't fully returned. Modeling aided his recovery.

I hate to hear that news. I wish him a speedy recovery and save his tanks for therapeutic reasons. That could be a beneficial activity for him during recovery.

Hi all. Mrs Meter Rat again.
I’ll let the grumpy old git reply. Although he is sulking like a five year old, as he will not be able to drive for a while. Although, I think he is just fed up, stuck in hospital, wired to machines, and board. And the realisation that he will probably be on medication (for the first time ever) for life.

Thank you all for kind wishes, and get wells. Mrs Meter Rat has visited today and brought over a tablet, so I have been catching up.
Apparently the damage is not as serious as first th. Left arm and leg hav no feeling, and feeling very tired.

I see I am still gett I the blame for the state YOU got yourself in?

Mrs Meter Rat is an angel (of death) She has had health issues of her own. 11 Years ago she had 2 strokes of her own at the tender ages of 55. Followed a year later, by oesophagus cancer.

A good aid for recovery would be force feeding jellied eels thrice a day....
I followed the light. And saw only jellied eels at the end. Hell isn’t quite ready for me yat. I turned back to the German armour.
You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.
