Have you tried rebinding the Transmitter to the receiver ?
If you have the manual or check online for a manual to see what you did and may help get it working
Sorry as i have no experience with Flysky kit
Cheers

:)
No, I haven't tried again to "bind" it. My main concern is that no programs are displayed on the screen anymore. I'm going to consider buying a simpler 6-channel radio, even though it bothers me a little, or even a lot, to have a superb radio and not be able to use it. :headbang:
Thank you anyway for taking the time to reply.

I tried a Google search using this format in the search box: blank screen "Flysky".

There seems to be a lot of discussion of the problem of a blank screen on various Flysky transmitters (i.e. 6 and 9 function). Here are just a two such discussions. If you run the same search, you can find quite a few more ideas:

Hi,
It seems that you have turned the LCD brightness/contrast all the way down.
To undo it, you have to blindly type it out.
For the menues see atached manual.

FS-TH9X
User Manual
LCD Adjustment
This function adjusts the brightness/contrast of the display.
1. On the initial screen, press and hold the Menu button to enter the main menu.
2. Press the up/down button and select System Settings, then briefly press
the Menu button to enter the next submenu.
3. Press up/down and select the ADJ menu, press and hold the menu button
to enter the next submenu.
4. Press ‘-’ or ‘+’ to adjust the contrast intensity of the LCD display.
5. Press and hold the menu button to save your settings. Press Exit to discard your
settings and not save them.

:headbang: Okay, so after reading and rereading, then transcribing it onto paper to make sure I didn't forget anything, pressing the "Menu" button changes nothing (except for a brief beep?). The screen remains stubbornly green, with no display. The battery has been recharged, so that's fine. I confess I don't understand it at all. I still remember the moment I did that stupid thing: "simultaneously pressing one of the right-hand buttons, Menu or Exit, and one of the left-hand buttons, Up/Down or Plus/Minus." It will remain a mystery to my little brain.

I recommend a new transmitter.
Spend a little more money on a transmitter with a multi-protocol module, such as the Radiomaster TX16.
Then you won't need to buy new receivers.
