Interesting mod on the Abrams

Yeah I think I saw it on DKLMRC and it was sold out and also like $100+, but don’t quote me on that.

The version I bought was around $65 shipped if I recall.

My 1/16 is in pieces anyways, and my 1/8 sucks up all my time so, maybe when I’m able to get back to the 1/16 I’ll grab one.

No way for me fabricate one on my own for the 1/8. Maybe John at ECA could figure something out.

No, neither one have that. No way to implement that on the 1/8, but I thought I remember seeing one for the 1/16 but it was out of stock and/or super expensive? But I can’t remember where.

I did buy a active idler for one of my 1/16 Abrams, but never installed it. DKLM RC made one in limited quantities and someone else did also. The someone else is the one I bought (which is Cleong on RC Universe). Found the thread:

Yeah that’s me who sold it to you. Let me know how it goes if you ever do use it. Mine’s holding up alright but I kept an extra two sets for myself if I ever needed spares or decided to have another Abrams but they’re durable I’ll probably sell the extras
