Just looking at the one image of the rear with the doors open I see a crack has developed at the bottom. That would explain why opening and closing the doors has got a bit harder the last couple of days. Another thing to fix now :/

I've run mine pretty hard on the battle area we have and the only issues I've had with mine so far is the mirrors and tow hooks on the front have broken off. Wonder if it was a bad batch of plastic on yours.

Yes the mirror has been knocked off twice already but that's me being a klutz. Well it performed very well in another 30 minute torture test at our field including a ridged surface bridge that challenges any non heavy tank suspension. Don't get me wrong. Torro did a really nice job on this unit and I am so glad they did it. I guess for the price I shouldn't expect the Tamiya ABS or Torro/Taigen metal quality I've been spoiled with. I have no regrets buying it, was just hoping to have a bit more robust platform for converting it to a PAK40/22 IR battler. I have to admit considering all I did was weather the extra $20 camo job it came out better than I thought. I originally wanted to do a dunkelgrau one. Maybe that is still in the cards next year :)

So today I really put it through the paces at our field which is really out there for torture testing tanks never mind something as delicate as the Sd. Kfz 251. Other than one of the hinges on the left side engine access panels (where the battery is) breaking, driven properly with one exception I was really impressed with the climbing over some pretty serious climbs/crappy soil conditions. It isn't really heavy enough to do the stupid stuff but i don't expect that. I love the vehicle. But it definitely is screaming for aftermarket upgrades and hopefully a better plastic in the future. I know I've been harsh in reviewing it in real life driving conditions but I'm glad it is out there and I will probably buy another one even now knowing it's shortcomings. Battery life is amazing on it because it is so light
