FYI.
You can get Mitre Bond and a tin of activator for £5.99 from Screwfix at the moment. We use it for gluing kitchen cornices and is a normal super glue. Glue is a 50g(1.5 fl oz) bottle and a 200ml can of activator.
Gorilla super glue in B&Q is £9.90 for just a 25g bottle.

It’s a good trick but my super glue don’t last that long
