You did a great job. I love the painting and weathering you did on it.
I'm stunned by your rendition of the mantelet fabric, how did you make it ? It looks very in scale, thin and flexible and it seems you can remove it. Please give us more details !

Yes, it's removable. This tarp was difficult to make. It took me a long time to make, and I kept trying because it didn't form a regular shape when unfolded. Fortunately, I finally succeeded. The mantlet details---the casting numbers, texture, fabric cover, and minuscule attachment points with nuts--are a model in themselves.
