I'll watch it, but won't hold out too much hope for re-watchability.
I'd assumed that most of the shots are digital augmentations of a stand-in tank.
Anyone else feel like the 'crusher' cap worn by the Tiger commander looks way too Russian?

Nahh, based on what I saw I'd guess they are mostly practical and minimal CGI of the Tank itself, except for maybe explosions and fire,,,, and the water part.

You're probably right... they saved all that potential CG money to bribe YouTube to allow their trailer to be shown!

Yeah the uniforms weren't too convincing.

The design of the crusher allowed headphones to be worn more easily by panzer commanders
The Russian caps all had circular wire brims which weren't meant to flex like this

Apparently, "Der Tiger" is now showing up on the Amazon search menu as "The Tank"... really? Is the translation for 'Tiger' that difficult? Der Bastards!
Probably because there's already a movie (which is not about tanks) called "The Tiger" from 2016

In Polish it's also "The Tank" ("Czołg").
I'm still waiting for a movie to come out where tanks operate in platoons and companies, not alone. Even "Kelly's Heroes" was more realistic in that respect

Agreed... funny that most modern movies can't seem to replicate the quasi-realism of an old flick like "Kelly's Heroes", at least when it comes to Shermans & Tigers.

Ha, I just noticed that Amazon has another movie called "The Tank" (also not about our 'tanks') from 2017... sometimes you just can't win in the movie-title business!
