I agree, such a rare thing in real life let alone an Rc Model.
Such an imposing looking thing too.

I so want to try that mantlet tarp/cover but am terrified of the result I'd end up with. Well done! I'll watch for that material and just might give it a go.

The front slope of the turret makes that thing look like it's going fast even when it isn't!
Thanks for experimenting with that packing material. I've got yards of it and it really looks like canvas. Looks nice and flexible around the mantlet. Method acquired! Royalty cheque's in the mail...

I have 2 extra sheets of the material if you want to give your mantlet tarp a go. I was sceptical I could pull it off with the other materials I had collected but this material was easy to work with. Just PM your address to me and I'll pop them in the mail for you
Located a 30 cal M1919 Browning from a "Fury" Sherman with the proper mount at Battleground Models of which the Brit L3A1 was their designation for it so as soon as their store opens up again on Nov.1 I'll be ordering one for the commander's cupola along with some other goodies. I love their parts

Thank you for that generous offer - but no. I've thown that stuff out many times (not seeing a use for it). I've SO many projects on the list right now that by the time I get to my two 76mm Shermans I'll have received some more.Panzermechaniker wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 2:42 pm

I am delighted to see your work with the stuff and now I just might attempt it someday! Well done and thank you again.

Re: [Cold War] Conqueror Early Mk. 2
Since yesterday was probably the last chance to get this monster out on the field for the next 6 months I decided not to bother waiting for the commander's mg and the tow cables to call this thing done. Since I'm not going to be winning any IPMS awards with this
I completely covered the brittle turret basket and headlight and guards with JB Weld. They won't be breaking again into a half dozen or more pieces although I will try to get the headlights and guards re-printed as they are a disaster. It is such an enormous tank but runs and battles well except of course when it gets too close to trees, rocks and structures. So here are a few images of it out in the wild. First one is side by side with a Leopard and a couple of long shots and then some closer up.

It’s a nice model. If someone designs that moc engine you speak of to go over the gearboxes I will build one
It’s your tank it’s what you make it
