So a standard 2S 5000mah lipo measuring 137mm long, 25mm high and 47mm wide will fit?

Id like to know what the dimensions of a battery tray is.

Mine have always fit without cutting, but only soft case, not hard case. The tightest fit was the Sherman, but it still fit. I think I remember the Abrams being kind of tight too, before I ended up cutting out the battery box for other reasons.

I think the Merkava had a tiny box for their battery, but you can remove it by just unscrewing the box from the hull, so I did that.

Anyone who has the means to measure their tank's battery box that would be greatly appreciated.

If you run a soft case 2S lipo, please share the measurements of it if you can.

Im looking for the King Tiger's battery box size but any tank by Heng Long will do. I'd like get a rough idea on what lipos would fit.

I have a HL Panther 7.0.

The battery box is 13.5L x 5.5W x 2.75D. (CM)

Thanks, I managed to grab a used Heng Long King Tiger. The standard 2S 5000mah battery itself fits but the wire stick out, no way to close the cover.

Now if I wanted to use a 2S 5000+mah lipo battery some mods are in order. Otherwise a smaller lipo (non li--ion) battery will work.

Ill need to post a photo for others to see (future reference).
