This one ??
That is an interesting specimen. Do we know how it was knocked out? The spare track holder looks sheared off. And is that possibly a cleaning rod wedged between the other spare tracks? Looks like they whitewashed it and the rear spare turret tracks as well. H'mmm

Per Greg Walden's book "Tigers in the Ardennes", it was knocked out by a tank destroyer west of Vielsalm, probably around 30th December. He also notes "No light and shadow pattern dots. turret numbers appear to be the same shade as 332 (i.e. Blue with Yellow outline), part of the hull appears to have a coat of whitewash paint".

Welcome. Nobody will harass you too much for being a railroad guy. Now being a Tiger guy...that's a whole other ballgame... :) I don't personally own any Tiger tanks unless you count my Sturmtiger. Nothing against them per say, just don't own one out of the 40+ tanks I have built or started building.

Model railroad, you say? I am CEO and CFO of the 800+ square foot Golden Prairie Railroad, U.S. O Gauge. What's it to an addict?

My railway layout is a internal one and nothing like the size of garden layouts but your layout does sound great fun.

Thank you for posting the above that is the correct one, I am trying to find as much about it as I can to help me with the final finishing of it. I have not yet received the tank but trying to do as much background research as I can.
Kind regards
John
