Way to go, Rob59: "weathered it with real sand and the scratches were made with Ammo Aluminum matt." That combination produced some convincing weathering. I, too, noticed the realistic exhaust. I am eager to see the figures. Of course, it would take me six months to paint the figures, so I guess you don't have to hurry.

This is the 6 men crew for my vehicle:

Due to somekind of box on which the on/off switch is situated, the front gunner would not fit behind the MG shield!
So some surgerey needed to be done to his right leg.
The box has a hight of 1.5cm, so his right boot had to come 1.5cm higher to make it rest on top of the box!
At his right knee there is a fold in his trousers with
exactly the right angle to make it fit.
So I used a saw to take out a bite of the back of his knee with 2 90 degree angles.
In fact this was an easy peasy walk in the park to accomplish this job!
Just finished with a 2 component polyester to close the gap and create new folds in his trousers.
Now it must dry and later I can sandpaper it to make it look good.

When I was researching the Hanomag 251 before my excellent example from Catherine and her Oppo arrived I saw that some 251s had a spare wheel mounted on the front,
BNAModelWorld.comm
sell a spare wheel and mounting kit for the 251,
Bought it and it is an easy fit and looks really good.
My 251 from Will and Cath came with a driver figure so just a lick of paint and all well.

 Rob if I could make some deal with the devil to even be able to do just one figure as good as yours I'd consider it. I simply don't have the artistic talent

Hi guys.

@ Mr. B, base color is AK11408.
Pic was taken inside, in daylight it looks a bit lighter!

@ Panz.mech, in fact this is a very easy camo pattern to make!
On request of some of you, I did make a little tutorial about painting German camo uniforms, a year or so ago. It’s in this topic too.
Check it out, try out on those cheap HL tank commanders.
It‘s no rocket science!!

Good luck,
Rob.
